TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Ashton Jayne Bridal Terms of Business



This contract is between Ashton Jayne Bridal and the customer for the provision of goods and services.



Measurements and ordering

The measurements taken and agreed with the customer will be used by Ashton Jayne Bridal to decide the most appropriate size and length of the dress to be ordered from the manufacture by Ashton Jayne Bridal on behalf of the customer. No order will be submitted to the manufacture by Ashton Jayne Bridal until the customer agrees and confirms all measurements. The customers signature overleaf confirms agreements that all information listed is accurate and correct. No order will be submitted to the manufacture prior to receipt of the deposit paid in cleared funds.


Deposit

Ashton Jayne Bridal requires a deposit of 50% of the value of the item. This deposit is NOT refundable or transferrable and no credit note will be provided in the event of the customer cancels this order. SALE ITEMS are non refundable. An exchange can only be offered.



Delivery Date

Ashton Jayne Bridal will place an order for the item with the manufacturer. It is not within the control of Ashton Jayne Bridal to provide a date for delivery of the item. Ashton Jayne Bridal will contact the customer by telephone or E-mail within seven days of the receipt by Ashton Jayne Bridal of the item.



Alterations

Whilst Ashton Jayne Bridal agrees to use its best endeavours to order the item closest to the measurements taken, the customer accepts that there may be a need to make alterations to the item to improve the fit including to adjust the length where appropriate. Ashton Jayne Bridal offers customers its alterations services, and will provide the customer with assessments of the necessary work and provide a quote to undertake that work. Any additional work required by the customer will be charged at the £25 per hour, together with the cost of any additional material required.



Payment

The customer will pay the deposit in cleared funds upon ordering. The balance of the purchase price is to be paid sooner of:-

i. 14 days before dress is delivered to the shop by manufacturer.



Pressing and Collecting

Each item will be steamed and pressed (as appropriate) and stored in a protective bag which is supplied with the item to assist the customer when transporting it.



Inspection

The customer is asked to inspect the item prior to collection and advise any issues or concerns.



No Liability

Ashton Jayne Bridal accepts no liability for damages, marks, creases and similar once the item had been collected by the customer.



Storage

We have very limited storage so we can't store all or our dresses that go through our shop. However, in some circumstances we can store your dress but it will cost £3 a week (over a year would cost around £156).



Collection

The customer is required to collect the item within four days of notification of delivery, unless the customer instructs Ashton Jayne Bridal to carry out alterations. Where alterations are undertaken by Ashton Jayne Bridal the customer is required to collect the item on completion of the agreed work or 14 days prior to the event. Ashton Jayne Bridal reserves the right to charge storage fee of £1 per day for any item not collected in accordance with this agreement.
